Hey makers,Time for the monthly reality check. TinkerAtlas is currently sitting at $40 of our $300 monthly goal, and I need to be straight with you about what that means for the platform. We need another $60 just to hit the baseline. That's not profit or paying myself. That's literally keeping the servers running, the database storing your projects, the cache making everything load fast, and the email system sending out notifications. Without hitting $100, TinkerAtlas goes dark, unless I figure something out. No dramatic flourish there, just the simple math of hosting costs. But here's where it gets interesting. That extra $200? That's what keeps me able to actually improve TinkerAtlas. The development tools I use aren't cheap, and without them, progress grinds to a halt. We're talking about the difference between fixing bugs in hours versus days, or weeks, between implementing new features you've been asking for versus staring at code wondering why it won't work. It would basically stop developmentOver the past month, we've grown to 230 makers strong. You're posting 5-15 times a day, sharing incredible builds, helping each other troubleshoot prints, and building something real here. The chronological feed is still working perfectly at this size, but as we grow, we need the infrastructure to support it.I spend 8-18 hours a day on TinkerAtlas. Not because I have to, but because I believe in what we're building. A place where makers can share without algorithms deciding who sees what. Where your printer mods and project logs actually matter. Where the community owns the conversation. If you believe in that vision and have a few dollars to spare, consider supporting us. Even $5 makes a difference when we're this close to keeping everything running smoothly. If you can't support financially right now, I get it. Share your projects, invite other makers, keep the community alive. That matters just as much.Let's keep building something that's ours.Thomas aka MakerViking.
