The servers are covered, TinkerAtlas stays online. Now for the rest of the climb. We're at 45% with under a week left, and closing to 100% is what funds continued work on TinkerAtlas, SindriCAD, and TinkerView into the next round.

The birthday surprises are out. SindriCAD is a free, cross-platform parametric CAD app for makers, and TinkerView puts all your cameras and 3D printers in one self-hosted dashboard. Here's what they do and why I built them.

Tomorrow TinkerAtlas turns one. Join the birthday stream on July 6th for a look back at year one, a look ahead at year two, and the surprises I've been saving for the day. Plus an honest word on where our funding stands going in.

Former high-voltage substation engineer Lostboy73 talks about his Bambu A1, Centauri Carbon, and the Prusa Core One he calls "My Precious." Plus the Death Star build, the print bed habit that fixes 95% of his failures, and why he still says "just do it."

This is the "it's here" post, not the verdict. The U1 arrived, I unboxed it, got it mounted, and pushed a couple of prints through it. The proper deep...

The funding period closed with the servers covered but the devtools side came up short. Here's the honest picture, what's on hold, and the two features waiting for dev to resume: MakerDraw and the streaming calendar.

Two days left in the funding period. $57 from covering the servers. $257 from covering dev tools too. The numbers are concrete now, the gap is reachable, and the next 48 hours decide whether we close this cycle in good shape or start the next one in a deeper hole.

The current funding period ends in seven days, and we're sitting at 13% of goal. An honest look at what the funding actually covers, what happens if we don't make it, and why I think we can still close the gap with the community behind us.

Building in public usually sounds glamorous. The reality, from where I'm sitting, is a lot less cinematic — budget tradeoffs, a wonky camera bottlenecking streams, and a platform growing slowly but steadily on terms one person can sustain. An honest update on where things actually stand.

MakerDraw is ready for beta testing. If you're a maker or 3D printing streamer on Twitch or YouTube and want early access to a giveaway tool built for this community, I'm looking for testers. We also made last month's funding goal just in time. Hoping to get there sooner this month.
