A free, parametric CAD app that runs where you do: Linux, Windows, and Mac.

SindriCAD started as a fix for a real problem. The professional CAD package I relied on doesn't run on Linux, and none of the workarounds felt right. So instead of bending my workflow around a tool that didn't fit, I built the tool.
It's designed to feel familiar. SindriCAD follows the workflow and keyboard shortcuts most makers already know from professional parametric CAD, so if you've used a mainstream tool, you already mostly know your way around.
And it's not a mockup or a tech demo. SindriCAD has already produced real, printed parts. The name comes from Sindri, the dwarf master smith of Norse mythology, which felt fitting for a tool whose whole job is forging parts.
Extrude, fillet, chamfer, loft, mirror, and the rest of the everyday toolset you actually reach for.
Models stay editable and driven by real dimensions, so one change flows through the whole part.
Export straight to STL and STEP, ready to drop into your slicer.
Follows the workflow and keyboard shortcuts of mainstream professional CAD, so there's little to relearn.
Built for Linux, Windows, and Mac, so it runs on whatever you already work on.
Proof that you don't have to be a traditional coder to ship software makers can genuinely use.
Born from a Linux problem, built to run everywhere.
SindriCAD comes straight out of a real maker problem, built and shared with the TinkerAtlas community. The best way to keep tools like this coming is to help keep the platform funded.
